The Kaplička (Chapel) is a late Baroque chapel with a square floor plan and a round presbytery, originally built in 1753 at the foot of Vítkov Hill. It was consecrated in a newly established cemetery for soldiers and invalids. The chapel features an ornate facade, a roof turret with chamfered corners, and a low dome. The interior was decorated with frescoes depicting Czech patrons and the coronation of the Virgin Mary. At the end of the 19th century, the military cemetery was abolished, and industrial factories began to rise around the chapel. Over time, the small sacred structure was disfigured by extensions and even served as a regulatory station.

The most significant damage to this cultural monument occurred during the 2002 floods, which submerged the chapel to a depth of 4 meters. The restoration of the chapel was a joint effort involving the Karlín Group, Prague City Hall, the Ministry of Culture, and Prague 8. Following the restoration, the park surrounding the chapel was developed by AFI as part of the adjacent Butterfly project.
