ZigZag Haus
The ZigZag Haus continues the successful collaboration between the Karlín Group and top architects in cultivating urban neighborhoods. This modern residential block is being developed on the site of a former brownfield and is designed by the German studio Müller Reimann Architekten, together with the Czech firm Pelčák a partner architekti. The project embodies the urban structure and lifestyle of the Holešovice district.
The building features a zigzag facade covered with colorful ceramics, referencing the architectural history of the area. This distinctive design element brings a new scale, dynamic, and style to a previously overlooked corner of Holešovice. Together with the ultra-modern railway viaduct running along the block, the development will create a new pedestrian-friendly public space that is both functional and peaceful.
