In 2000, RBTA completed the second phase of the New Karlín plan – Corso I. This former industrial facility, built in 1890 to produce steel boilers, underwent extensive renovation and was transformed into a modern Class A office building. The design, which blends both existing renovation with new construction, respects the typology, division, rhythm, and street façade of the original industrial hall. The architectural solution of the building is based on a dialogue between dark and light, heavy and light, and classical and modern.

A new, transparent, and airy four-story cube made of glass and steel was inserted into the outer walls of the original massive brick hall. The double-glazed "upper" part with a red stucco arcade complements the composition of the lower part of the building.

The interior features an open-space layout, allowing flexibility in the arrangement of the space. The building opens into an inner courtyard and a pedestrianized street. The main entrance, located two-thirds of the way along the building, divides the large Karlín block and facilitates communication between its occupants.
