A nine-story residential building, designed by the young and successful Czech studio edit!, was constructed on one of the last infill sites on the main street of Karlín. The building is materially based on historical plots and the irregular vertical arrangement of cornices. The original division is emphasized by a ceramic façade in two shades, which seamlessly transition from the vertical façade into the roof plane, referencing the traditional materials of the former industrial buildings.

Founded in Prague in 2014 by Ivan Boroš, Juraj Calaj, and Vítězslav Danda. They specialize in designing premium residential and commercial buildings with an emphasis on public space. They gained international recognition with the creation of the Tayēr + Elementary bar in London, which was named the second-best bar in the world in 2021. Their residential projects include distinctive villas and mountain chalets.
The contours of the historic building are highlighted with aluminum slats. Most of the larger apartments have a loggia or terrace accessible from both the living room and the bedroom and are oriented to the south towards Sokolovská Street. The premium apartments on the upper floors feature full-glass walls opening onto spacious terraces with views of Vítkov Hill and the surrounding roofscape of Karlín.
